WHAT WE OFFER *

Over the years, we've seen firsthand how passionate local communities can spark incredible opportunities. Yet too often, creators, entrepreneurs, and fan-driven events lack access to the licensors, studios, brands, and decision-makers who can help take their ideas to the next level. At the same time, many rights holders and companies are searching for authentic ways to engage with audiences and grow their communities.

Kinfolk Collabs exists to bring those worlds together.

About Mary

Mary is a television and film enthusiast and a lifelong anime fan with a diverse background in global entertainment. With over a decade of experience in the industry, she specializes in anime and pop culture fandoms, with deep expertise in digital licensing, the streaming landscape, and building global partnerships with studios and networks worldwide.

Mary has been immersed in the world of anime and digital content since 2013, when she joined Digital Media Rights as a Manager of Acquisitions & Programming. There she focused on building relationships with domestic and international studios, producers, and sales agents while helping to program and distribute international and domestic titles across platforms like Netflix, Amazon, Tubi, Hulu, The Roku Channel and more.

In 2020, Mary became one of the driving forces behind RetroCrush, a curated OTT channel dedicated to the Golden Age of anime. She established relationships with some of Japan's most storied studios and networks, including Tezuka Pro, Studio Pierrot, TMS, NHK, Fuji TV, and more, while also licensing over 90% of RetroCrush’s streaming catalog. Mary was also instrumental in giving classics like Hayao Miyazaki’s Future Boy Conan, Project A-ko, The Twelve Kingdoms, Dear Brother, and more, their streaming debuts in North America via launches on RetroCrush.

Whether you're a creator, event organizer, or up-and-coming business looking to build official relationships with licensors and studios, Mary brings the connections, the expertise, and the genuine passion for fandom to help make it happen. Mary's work is grounded in one core belief: The best deals aren't just business, they're built on trust, shared love for the fandom, and empathy for everyone in the room.
